Margaret Elizabeth Johnson, age 78, was called home to be with the Lord on January 8, 2025. Born on March 15, 1946 in Springfield, Illinois, she lived a life of deep faith, boundless love, and quiet service.

Margaret was a devoted woman of God who found strength in prayer and scripture throughout her life. As a elementary school teacher and a mother, she led by example, teaching her children the values of kindness, humility, and grace. Her loving, kind, and generous were a reflection of her steadfast faith.

She found earthly joy in gardening, reading, and baking, always giving thanks for the blessings in her life, both great and small.

Margaret is survived by her husband Robert, daughter Sarah (Tom), son David (Emily), and four grandchildren and was preceded in death by her parents James and Mary Williams.

A funeral service celebrating her life and faith will be held A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 15 at 2:00 PM at Grace Community Church.. We take comfort in knowing she is now at peace in the arms of her Creator.
