Margaret Elizabeth Johnson, age 78, of Portland, Oregon, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2025. Born on March 15, 1946 in Springfield, Illinois, she was a devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and loyal friend to all who knew her.

Margaret dedicated her life to her family and her career as a elementary school teacher. She was known for her loving, kind, and generous, which touched the lives of everyone around her. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, reading, and baking, often sharing these passions with her loved ones.

She is survived by her husband Robert, daughter Sarah (Tom), son David (Emily), and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents James and Mary Williams.

A celebration of her life will be held A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 15 at 2:00 PM at Grace Community Church.. The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a charity of your choice in her memory.
