With hearts heavy yet anchored in faith, we announce that Margaret Elizabeth Johnson, age 78, was welcomed into the arms of the Lord on January 8, 2025.

Born on March 15, 1946 in Springfield, Illinois, Margaret was a precious gift from God whose brief time on earth filled our lives with purpose and grace. Margaret was loving, kind, and generous, embodying the purest form of love and innocence that reminded us all of heaven's closeness.

Margaret found happiness in gardening, reading, and baking and brought light to every room and every heart.

Margaret is survived by her husband Robert, daughter Sarah (Tom), son David (Emily), and four grandchildren and was preceded in death by her parents James and Mary Williams.

A service of worship and remembrance will be held A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 15 at 2:00 PM at Grace Community Church.. We trust in God's promise that we will be reunited, and until that day, we carry Margaret in our prayers and in our hearts.
