Margaret Elizabeth Johnson, age 78, entered into eternal rest on January 8, 2025 in her home. Born on March 15, 1946 in Springfield, Illinois, he was a man of unwavering faith and moral conviction.
Margaret served as a elementary school teacher and as a spiritual leader within his family, guiding his children with wisdom drawn from scripture and lived experience. His loving, kind, and generous were a testament to the values he held dear. He believed that a life well lived was one spent in service to others and in fellowship with God.
He found peace and renewal through gardening, reading, and baking, often reflecting on the blessings of creation.
He is survived by her husband Robert, daughter Sarah (Tom), son David (Emily), and four grandchildren and was preceded in death by her parents James and Mary Williams.
A memorial service honoring his life and legacy of faith will be held A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 15 at 2:00 PM at Grace Community Church.. The family finds solace in the promise of resurrection and reunion.
